New Sessions for Spring Term 2021

Sessions will be on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, starting from 11th January until the 26th March 2021.  (Half term sessions will be posted separately). The Forest Sprite/ pre-school sessions are now 2 hours in duration, in line with Forest School requirements.

Monday

  • Pre-School ‘Forest Sprite’, 10.00-12.00, starts 11th January, Eliot Pits wood, Blackheath   – £200
  • After-School, 3.30 – 5.30, Eliot Pits wood, Blackheath   – £270
    – pickup available from John Ball and All Saints schools.

Wednesday

  • Pre-School ‘Forest Sprite’, 10.00-12.00, starts 13th January, Manor Park   – £200
  • After-School, 3.30 – 5.30, Hilly Fields   – £270
    – pickup available from Gordonbrock school.

Friday

  • Pre-School ‘Forest Sprite’, 10.00-12.00, starts 15th January, Manor Park   – £200
  • After-School, 3.30 – 5.30, Manor Park   – £270
    – pickup available from Trinity school.

Parents/carers running late can let us know and will be able to pick up until 6.00 while we pack up the site.

Sibling discounts are available. £180 per this term for pre-school and £240 for after-school sessions.

COVID Update: In order to be able to continue running Forest School during the ongoing pandemic, we have to limit the number of adults in base camp during Pre-School sessions to 6. Parents who cannot be in the circle are welcome to be in the parks with their children in their sight. I.e. when we play ‘1,2,3, where r u?’, they are encouraged to link up with their children for this game. We are aware this is not easy for anyone, but it is what we have to do to continue Forest School. Fine tuning these arrangements will be done by consensus and on an ongoing basis.

Christmas Holiday 2020 Session Dates

Holiday Pre-School and Primary Sessions:

Winter Solstice Christmas Spiral session

  • Monday, 21st December, 4:00pm – 6:00pm – Manor Park     £35 (£30 for siblings)
  • Parents to join us with lantern at 5:30pm for singing!

Drumming and decoration-making session with Anna Katama-Atkinson of Africa Experience

  • Tuesday, 22nd December, 10:00am – 12:00pm – Manor Park     £35 (£30 for siblings)

Children need to be dressed for the weather (layers, waterproofs and wellies or stout boots for cold weather) and are required to bring their own packed snack and a drink.

These sessions are usually drop-off. In case any parents would like to stay we have to limit the number of adults in base camp during these sessions to 3 in order to be able to continue running Forest School during the ongoing pandemic.

Hooraaay!! We’re back!!
We are running short sessions throughout August:

  • 1st and 3rd weeks in Manor Park.
  • 2nd and 4th weeks at Hilly Fields.

  • Morning sessions (10 – 12am)
  • Afternoon sessions (1:30 – 3:30pm)

£30 per session (discounts available)

Mix & Match discounts

COVID-19 Update: Easter Holiday 2020 Session Dates

Holiday Pre-School and Primary Sessions:

COVID-19 UPDATE: Due to the ongoing Covid-19 situation, the holiday session on 8th of April is unfortunately cancelled. Any bookings for the 8th will automatically be booked on for the session on the 16th of April.

In case we will have to cancel the session on 16th of April as well, there will be another similar 4 hour session arranged to happen as soon as possible.

We will play lots of games, build dens, make some environmental art, make things using our wide range of tools and just have fun!
Children need to bring a packed lunch and a drink, we provide all other snacks and drinks. They need to be dressed for the weather, wear layers, boots or wellies. (A change of clothing is always advisable).
